Dhanyashri Kamalakannan

Dhanyashri is a design researcher at The Pranava Institute. Her work revolves around ethical design practices, consumer behaviour and technology informed by care ethics. An orthodontist by training, Dhanyashri brings a unique perspective to her design and research work, currently focussed on ethics in technology.

Spoke at the UN Asia -Pacific regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF 2023) held in Brisbane, Australia. about The Unboxing Tech Toolkit: The Materiality of a Smartphone in a session titled "Mines, Maps and Minerals: Trace the complex material flows of your smartphone to make more sustainable choice".
