The Pranava Institute successfully hosted the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report on Technology in Education Consultation for South Asian Region, along with UNESCO and Restless Development.
We received an overwhelming response from individuals who expressed a keen interest in contributing to this important initiative. An extremely diverse group of 65 participants from 8 countries comprising of educators, learners, youth leaders, researchers, civil society organisations, technologists and representatives from non- profits contributed substantially to this consultation on the theme “Technology in Education- on whose terms?”. The exchange of ideas was not just diverse but also enriching, setting the stage for shaping the future of technology in education.
The participants enthusiastically contributed their valuable insights and expertise during the consultation. The key takeaways and insights from the consultation will feed into the global GEM Report UNESCO on Technology in Education 2024. We extend our gratitude to UNESCO and Restless Development for their continued support in this endeavour targeting towards SDG 4 - ‘Quality education’.
As we compile the outcomes and insights from this consultation, stay tuned for updates on how we will continue to drive meaningful change in the realm of technology in education.
