We are excited to share that Swaathi Vetrivel has joined The Pranava Institute as a Research Fellow!
Swaathi brings a unique blend of technical expertise and social insight to her role, joining us from TPM-Cybersecurity group at TU Delft in the Netherlands, where she is currently a socio-technical cybersecurity researcher. Her current research focuses on reshaping how enterprises approach patching by addressing the risk dynamics and incentives that govern vulnerability management.

At TPI, Swaathi will deepen her exploration into how we can build technology that is not only innovative but also equitable, sustainable, and inclusive, especially in a time of rapid digital transformation. Her cross-sector experience enables her to take a multidimensional approach and move beyond binary thinking of whether or not to deploy, around technology use.
Swaathi asks: How can we consciously deploy technology while being mindful of its longer-term consequences?
This perspective aligns deeply with the core values of The Pranava Institute, and we’re thrilled to have Swaathi onboard as we continue shaping critical conversations at the intersection of technology, society, and ethics.
